Saeko Nogami
| Saeko is the eldest of five daughters.Her father, the
Tokyo Police Comissioner is always hoping she'll choose a
husand soon, even going so far as to select candidates
and collect dossiers on them. But Saeko refuses, saying
that she won't marry a man who can't match her skills or
beat her in combat. She's a cool cop who never lets the
guys get any further than she wants them to. Her signiture weapons are the razor stilettos she carries strapped to her thighs. But there's more to Saeko and meets the eye... |

| She, Ryo Saeba, and Hideyuki Makimura used to work as
a close knit trio. She and Makimura used to be partners
in the police force before he decided to become Ryo's
right-hand man. There was also a romantic element
involved when the three worked together. Both men were in
love with Saeko and she was in love with both men, but
just before she was going to decide between the two,
Hideyuki was killed by a drug lord. After Hideyuki's
death, neither Ryo nor Saeko could bring themselves to
approach the issue of romance. Just as the pain of their
mutual loss began to subside Kaori enters the picture and
things take a different turn... But as a result, there
may not be another character who knows the REAL Ryo
better than Saeko. Often she uses this towards her
advantage, whether it be enlisting Ryo's help in a case,
or just simply playing up to him. But when push comes to
shove, she's always there for him when he needs her, and
she'll give him a good lecture or two when she thinks
he's gone to far in hiding his emotions. She's also
always looking out for Kaori. "She's Hideyuki's
sister..." Makimura quit being a cop and became Ryo's partner when he (and Saeko) screwed up in an undercover operation. The undercover female police officers were killed. Makimura blamed himself harshly for his mistake. The crime they were investigating was a female slavery ring. Saeko's formal job title is Metropolitan Police Special Investigation Detective. |
