Introduction to Laurie FiveHi! My name is Laurie Five, also known as "Five-chan" on the Internet. This homepage is dedicated to all my friends and fans, particularily those that reside in the Ikibomot Community in Massachusetts and in California.
|
Many people are still confused as to how they should go about introducing themselves to
me and be assured that I will remember their names or other important information.
Well, let's put it this way: think of me as a jellyfish. A jellyfish has no central
nervous system and absorbs all outside information through individual synapses coupled
as one entire entity. So, if Laurie Three sees a movie that the other Lauries aren't
aware of, you can be sure that in time, the brainwaves of Laurie Three will propagate
towards the others and all five of me will confirm that I have seen it. Weird, huh?
Kinda like psychic quintuplets. Hey, don't panic; even I tend to screw up by using "we"
instead if "I" when referring to myself in first person.
|
From here on, I will refer to other instances of myself as "One","Two","Three","Four", and "Five" in both third and first person in order to help one understand that I am all five as one mind.
Of Barbies and GIJoe: My Wonder Years. This is a shot of me with my stuffed penguin
when I was five years old. I was quite a tomboy back then. I couldn't decide on
what to ask for Christmas: G.I.Joe action toys or Barbies. I think I chose wisely and
stuck with Legos and Erector sets. There is an old saying, "May you live in interesting
times" that seems more like a curse than a blessing. Well, I do live in interesting times,
but I would never call it a curse; rather an adventuresome learning experience. Do you
know how hard it is for me to fight for the bathroom when all of me must go at the same
time? Or how about when a guy asks me out on a date? Lots of things go wrong, but I've
come to realize these obstacles are all part of growing up. I feel lucky to be one of the
few N-Clones to make a wise decision and be a part of Ikibomot High. It really gives me
a chance to truly absorb the wealth of information and technology that is so abundant
in this day and age. Hopefully, when I graduate, all five of me will become great
artists, doctors, and engineers.
