Get a new computer, or upgrade the one I have.
This one was pretty much mandatory, since the computer I had at home when
I originally made this list was
an old clunky 386 with four meg of memory that no one at Loan Pricing
Corporation wanted. They didn't even want it back when they let me go.
And that machine finally gave up the ghost in August, leaving me without a
computer at home for a few months. Luckily, I was able to get a good deal
on a new one from a co-worker at Cantor who moonlights building computers.
And there was much rejoicing, not to mention much playing of Civilization II,
Railroad Tycoon Deluxe, and Sim City 2000.
