key items are mostly items that you obtain through the main scenario,
you can't buy or sell key items.

clan report	a report of various records.
tomaji's invoice	the invoice borrowed from tomaji.
sunstone	manastone that has sealed in solar power, used to fuel heaters and lamps.
crescent stone	stone slab received from daran. with a crest of a lion, it is needed to enter the rabanastre palace warehouse.
cactus flower	its petals become good medicine.
key to stockade #1	key to unlocking a stockade aboard the battleship leviathan.
system control key	key to control security features (such as warning signals) aboard the leviathan.
shard of dawn	manastone left behind by king raithwall, it serves as proof that one is a descendant of the great conquoror.
lente's tears	a charm made by the vieras, it unlocks the seal placed onto the forest.
valheim key	a slightly strangely shaped key received from the leader of a thieving ring, it can be used in the valheim underground passageway.
letter in an empty house	a letter left behind in an empty house in downtown rabanastre. it reads, "ESEESWSE".
letter from oldest sister	a letter from the oldest sister of the cabin chief sisters, written to her 6 younger sisters working in the other routes.
windreading compass	a compass that shows the flow of wind, used in the desert to walk through sandstorms.
feather of love	the gleaming white feather of the legendary cockatrice. touching it lets you know how cockatrices feel..?
skillshop armband	armbands worn by employees of the shillshop in vuerba. it is embroidered with the shop name.
manastone of conviction	a manastone that is said to deliever the bearer into the sealed lands. the etchings on front of the stone reads, "rely not only on your strength".
soulsealing key	the key to the sohen underground palace. it was used to seal away a hideous monster.
lab card	the security card of the dracroix laboratories. it shows the crest of the archadian empire.
sooty fragments	one piece of a medal that split into four, received as reward for retrieving a stolen item.
watergate key	key to operating the watergate control panel. it was broken, but sorbet asked a younger brother to repair it.

these can be bought as loot trade-ins, but cannot be sold.
