- Allied Electronics Huge catalog, pricey though
- Alltronics Electronic Component Supply Not to be confused with the above, another well-priced source for parts
- BG Micro - The Electronics Mecca This place is great for picking up random things, but fast inventory rollover
- C and H Sales Company Specializes in motors, test equipment, and optical stuff, but has other things
- Digi-Key HUGE selection, but standard OEM prices--bit pricey for hobbyists
- Electronix Experss Large selection, probably stable inventory, good prices
- Future Active Large surface-mount source, on reel, good selection
- Futurlec, "The Electronic Components Superstore" - Great Prices on PIC microcontrollers, other components
- Gateway Electronics Probably moderate inventory turnover
- Goldmine Electronics Random stuff, probably high turnover
- HSC Electronic Supply Random stuff, high turnover
- Herbach and Rademan Products for Science and Industry
- Jameco Electronics A good compromise between price and selection
- Jaycar Electronics In Australia, but trying to become a leading supplier of parts--decent selection
- Mouser Electronics Large selection, moderate prices
- Marlin P. Jones & Assoc. (MPJA) Random stuff, nice selection of educational electronic kits, unknown turnover
- Opamp Technical Books An amazingly large single source for technical books of all types
- Ramsey Electronics Lots of hobby kits, Wireless Data Modules
- Quickar Electronics, Inc Surplus, have the UFO LEDs which are cheap replacements for Luxeon 1W
- Unicorn Electronics Good more stable selection
