MapsI make plenty enough maps at work using GIS. Just to get more mileage out of the software I bought for my home computer, here are some free maps. If you would like a map, maybe I will make one for you. Inquire! For the most part, the data I would need should either be available freely or provided. General Maps
San Francisco Bay Area: A map of the
Bay Area showing Census 2000 "Designated Places" (close enough to cities I
guess), and major roads. Didn't do anything to the labelling so that's
why it looks kinda crappy.
Merced County: Okay, not really Bay Area, but I made it anyway. Thematic MapsCell Towers in Alameda County, California: Made by following these instructions. I didn't bother with cleaning up any of the labels or nothin', hehe. Buffets of the Alameda County, CA: I asked Drave if he would like a map. He wanted buffets. This is the result of a search for "buffet" on Citysearch.com restaurants centered around Hayward to out 20 miles or so, all w/in Alameda County. (Too lazy to bother geocoding outside). Here is Buffets.dbf file, you can open it in MS Excel to view it. Work: Okay, so it's not a map. It's some Flash thingy I made up and tailored for some division meeting. You'll need the Flash 7 Player or plug-in or something to see it. codePieces of code for you to using you see, for use with ESRI ArcMap
