Just finished this one. Comic book movie fun. I didn't want to watch it when it came out in theaters but I feel borrowing it from the library was worth my time. I find it amusing that Ioan Gruffudd had to adopt an American accent (He sounds British in the special features)
This was a weird movie. Weird as in the world is set in a sterile future and it was different, but I guess that's what's on the menu when you go for sci-fi. I didn't like it.
I liked this better than the Tad Hamilton movie. Maybe 'cuz I never had to go to a Christian high school. Not that I cared for all the religious stuff. But it was a funner romp.

Yesterday I watched Win a Date with Tad Hamilton yesterday. It was eh. I didn't feel very much for the characters. Topher Grace acts the same as his 70s Show character.
I had never seen Reservoir Dogs either, although I've seen Pulp Fiction. Didn't catch some dialogue, and there wasn't any English subtitles I could display on this DVD. Not my usual preferred movie fare, what with the excessive blood and all, but at least now I can say I've seen it.

I borrowed & watched all these last week:
The Picture of Dorian Gray: Didn't have much range in the number of settings. Kinda long. Eh.
Lawrence of Arabia: Long. 2 Discs long.
I, Robot: A fun sci-fi romp. I think the important thing is not that the new generation or A.I. can choose whether or not to obey the 3 laws, but that it can choose. I haven't read the books so I can't compare it to 'em
The Fifth Element: I had never caught the beginning of this movie before, maybe the end. Aye, pretty colorful. Another fun romp.
The Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants: I cried during this movie during the tearjerker parts. Y'know, when so-and-so dies. It also gave me a desire to visit Santorini - the colors are so vibrant. No, I never read the book.
