Chronicles of Narnia

Finally finished! Read them in order, from the birth to the death of Narnia, we follow the same English family of characters as they flit in and out of Narnia to help in dire times. I never read any of these stories when I was younger, so it's good to've gotten it out of the way, if this was some kinda mandatory reading for youngsters or such.

More books

2 books I read in the past few days:
Just finished this one.

I think the author got more graphic than the trilogy this book adds to.

Jane Eyre

I libraried this DVD. Having watched Sense & Sensibility first, this movie was not as good: I don't sense the passion, the characters didn't appeal to me as much as they could have - wooden acting, or maybe that's how ppl really acted for that period in England. I've never read the book, but if you have better fare to watch, do so.

PBWiki

PBwiki logo
PBWiki's promotion for doubling your wiki space is ending so here's my 2 cents:

I got a wiki early on for my high school friends to use for events, info, and other stuff that's collaborative. It's pretty convenient and I think most of 'em check it time to time or update something. And once y'get used to the wiki language, it's not too bad to update something. Quite useful.

The Cell

I stopped putting entries for the media I've been consuming 'cuz I was lazy. But now that I look back over it, I enjoy having a record of what I read and what I thought of it. So I resume.

Libraried the book and read it some night ago. For spoilers and so forth, continue on...

An ordinary day yields madness when a "pulse" transmitted over all cell phones seems to wipe clean the listener's minds, turning most into violent, babbling living zombies. The sane ones muse that a terrorist organization may have started all this, but if they did, they probably did not anticipate how the "phoners" start to develop powers of the mind like projecting emotions and telekinesis. The story follows a comic book artist as he flees the urban city to return home to make sure his son okay, but of course, things aren't that simple.

Silence of the Lambs & Clockwork Orange

Silence of the Lambs didn't have too much actual violence. Didn't catch all the dialogue though

Weird movie. I guess that's Kubrick.
