I visited BAAMA's site and see this job opening. I am kinda lacking in the database side but I think I should be able to hold my own if I had this job. Pros are that I'd be taking BART to work = more time to read/game/do SOMETHING aside from starin' at the rear end of another car and the pay would be higher than what I'm gettin' now. And it'd be Chinatown area! Could frolick around that area. Cons are that I dunno what the culture is like and of course, the ppl & place I'm at is ok, aside from bleh commute. And what is their turnover like. And.. other factors. I think I'll submit an application anyway and decide later what to do if I even get a call.
