May 03, 2004SnapshotSometimes at work, I finish my current task then I sit there, wondering what I should be doing next. At home, I'm one of those people who hardly ever finishes anything. And, at both locations, I have a variety of "projects" I could work on. At home, I started playing NWN again yesterday. I'm in Chapter 3 or 4, I forget which. I also still have to draw a pirate chicky pic for the AX Karaoke button, but I still haven't gotten any good ideas on how I want to do that; makes me think I might not be the best one for this job. At work, I've taken a look at Nucleus as a potential blog software candidate: it's free and looks okay, although version 3 sure is cluttered with their plug-ins. It's gonna take me a while to tear out all the things I don't like or don't think will be suitable for my unit then I'll have to try applying the stylesheet to it. I also tried mucking around with a contents view version of the ArcMap data menu. I actually got it to go in within a few hours! Thanks to the support forums. After I clean up this thing, hopefully I can release it into ArcScripts. I think I'm strumming the uke better, so I almost sound authentic! Almost! I owe some thanks to this book. One thing I took away with me from that spa experience was to get some lotion with SPF in it. I've ordered some Olay free sample to see if I like it. As for actual snapshots, I recently developed an APS film cartridge that had been sitting in my camera for a loooong time. I think the colors are a faded compared to what it would've been had it been fresher. That'll teach me. I also need more pages to insert into my album. Rather, I should just get a new album.
