"SPRING" SNOWSTORM

It doesn't look or feel like spring in this shot. Was driving in a very wet snowstorm on one of the back roads in my hometown (Medfield, MA.) when this view came along. The lighting conditions were bright overcast with a substantial amount of snow flying around. But, it was spring, the calendar said so! Set up the camera on a tripod and shot a few using the TTL meter for exposure settings. There was enough snow in the air to slightly blur and obscure the pines in the background. Made two prints, one like the shot posted here and another much lighter, almost hi-key. The hi-key does not do well on the monitor screen, but it makes a superb print. The film was FUJI NPS160 color print film. Post processed it to black and white in PaintShopPro.
