Spring in Barnstable

Here is another Spring composition. Nice as the spring snow is, we really need to see what spring in New England is all about. Dafodils in West Barnstable on Cape Cod are one of the ultimate expressions of what spring is all about. Here in the lot next to Ojala Farms tea room and bakery (on Rt. 6A) is one of the best displays anywhere. This is one of the first real shots I've made with the Mir 38B (3.5/65). I think I am going to like this lens. It is sharp and the Bokeh seems to be a good bit better than the 80mm Volna. This pic was made in open shade with a nearly wide open diaphragm. Accordingly the depth of field is less than I would like, but I didn't have a tripod with me so hand held was the best I could do.
